Nammo Buck GmbH is one part of the internationally operating company Nammo AS (Nordic Ammunition Company), which is based in Raufoss, a city 120 km north of Oslo. Nammo AS employs about 1500 employees at their companies in Norway, Sweden, Finland, USA and Germany.

Our clients are mainly the armed forces of countries, but also Police forces, riflemen and hunters. Some of the main products of Nammo AS are fore example non-toxic and armour piercing small arms ammunition, multi-purpose ammunition, 30 x 173mm family of ammunition, 120mm HE Tank ammunition, artillery and mortar ammunition components, missile propulsion systems etc.

Nammo AS has adapted its strategy to the international tendency of reducing costs for defence by paying more attention to the market for revision, modernisation and transformation of existing ammunitions. Nammo AS is taking its part to help reducing costs and increasing the efficiency of these systems. With its fully owned companies in Vingåker (Sweden) and Pinnow (Germany) as well as partly owned companies in Løkken Verk (Norway) and Rock Island (USA). Nammo AS holds the first position in Europe and is one of the world leaders in the demilitarization sector.
